Hundreds of writers, singers, artists, social activists and journalists gathered at the Agartala Press Club and supported Hazare's cause. "People from all walks of life assembled in solidarity of Hazare. We would organise some specific programme next week to support Hazare's demand," journalist and social activist Samir Dhar told reporters. "Our representatives would meet Hazare in New Delhi to express our solidarity," Dhar added.
